Cape Town’s Artscape Theatre Centre will host the annual A Cappella Music Festival this Saturday, 21 February 2026. The event, organised by the Rainbow Arts Organisation, runs from 13:00 to 18:00 with intervals throughout the afternoon.

Tickets range from R150 to R350 and are available through Webtickets. Parking is accessible at the Cape Town Civic Centre basement for a fee of R45.

The festival showcases a diverse lineup of vocal and choral groups. Confirmed performers include the Tygerberg City Choir, Thanda Choir, CPUT Choir, and the Western Cape Police Choir. School and church choirs, such as Panorama Primary School and the Macassar Uniting Reform Church Choir, are also scheduled to appear. The iThemba Youth Choir rounds out the community-based participants.

Guest artists for the event include local acts The Soil, Xola Toto, and Andiswa Mbolekwa.

According to the Rainbow Arts Organisation’s website, the festival serves a community development purpose beyond entertainment. It aims to create employment opportunities, provide practical experience in music and event production for emerging groups, and encourage entrepreneurship, particularly among youth and disadvantaged communities.
