Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday delivered a speech at the 26th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
Xi made four proposals during his speech.
First, Xi called on the SCO to uphold development as a priority, and usher in a future of shared prosperity.
Second, he urged the SCO to prioritize security, and foster an environment of universal security.
Third, Xi called on the SCO to put people first, and lay solid foundations for friendship across generations.
Fourth, he urged the organization to uphold dialogue and consultation, and improve governance in a fair and orderly manner.
